Dear IAVCEI Members,
Every four years the IAVCEI renews its Executive Committee through anonymous electronic voting of its members. Renewal of the Executive Committee for the 2023-2027 term is for the roles of President, Secretary General, the 2 Vice-Presidents, the 4 scientific counsellors and the representative of Early Career Researchers.
We are pleased to inform you that the final list of nominees/candidates for these different roles, together with their respective photo, short bio, nomination letter(s), and own motivation letter and CV, are now posted on our IAVCEI website (https://www.iavceivolcano.org/voting/).
We remind you that only members with due-paid IAVCEI membership, i.e. active in 2023, will be able to vote. Active membership is automatically checked from our database. Membership renewal or even new membership can rapidly be obtained online, using your login email and password, or, if needed, through email contact with Denisa Svatkova (svatkova@guarant.cz). Your same identity data will be used for the electronic voting. Please note that the election is anonymous and the data will not be shared.
The electronic voting process will be managed by the IAVCEI secretariat and controlled by the 2023 Elections Committee chaired by Prof. Ray Cas (the composition of this Committee is given in our Newsletter 2023-1).
The voting period will last from June 1st to June 13 (midnight CEST time).
Once validated by the Elections Committee, the results will be immediately published on the IAVCEI website. We recommend the largest possible participation of IAVCEI members to this key vote for renewing the Executive Committee that will manage our international Association in 2023-2027.
