Dear IAVCEI members,
we inform you that the deadline to submit nominations for renewing the IAVCEI Executive Committee in 2023-2027 is extended from April 15 to April 25 in order to allow additional time for late submissions.
Let’s remind that renewal is for the roles of President, Secretary General, vice-Presidents (2), scientific councilors (4), and Early Career Researcher* (1) (*the previous ECR age limit of 35 has been deleted). Nomination dossiers (as a single pdf file) must be addressed by email to Prof. Ray CAS (ray.cas@monash.edu), with a copy to the IAVCEI secretariat (iavcei@associationhouse.cz).
Only IAVCEI members with due membership can be nominated or nominate another member for election to the Executive Committee, and this membership rule will also apply to the subsequent electronic voting process. Please refer to the IAVCEI website for information on the nomination/submission guidelines (https://www.iavceivolcano.org/about/statute-and-by-laws/).
