The workshop bridges field-based observations with high-resolution laboratory micro- and nano-scale imaging (SEM, EMPA, micro-CT, TEM, EBSD, and synchrotron-based techniques) to parameterize volcanic products and eruptive dynamics. The program includes dedicated thematic sessions, featuring invited oral presentations selected by leading national and international experts, field activities around the island, and practical data analysis training blocks.
IAVCEI Travel Grants
Travel grants (up to maximum €500) are available for ECRS. Four of these grants are specifically reserved to active IAVCEI members (with paid membership for 2027). Applicants must submit an abstract to present a poster.
