As mandated by IAVCEI rules, the Commission on Explosive Volcanism (CEV) started the process of holding an election for new officers. Each Commission should have one or two active leaders or chairs (point of contact) and a board of officers. Leaders and board of officers should be elected every 4 years (or every 2 years if desired), within the Commission.
For this reason, we would like to take expressions of interest for new officers of the IAVCEI Commission on Explosive Volcanism.
